When the loads to transport are supported on skids, the conveyors can be standarized and the complexity is minimized.
This system offers multitude of configuration possibilities according to: the needs of the load to be transported, its speed and the carried out processes in each transport or production line.
Conveyor formed by a series of motorized rollers distributed in longitudinal direction. Its purpouse is for skid transit on it.

Lifting table with on-board rollers
It consists of a cam lifting device for short strokes (80 < 400 mm.) with a roller table mounted on it.
Mainly used for small height changes between lines, skids insertion – extraction from transfers and detachment of skids for welding, handling or transfer stations.
Turning table with on-board rollers
This system is made up of a guided turning device with a roller table mounted on it.
It is used to change the direction between lines (different orientations).
Shuttle with on-board rollers
To permit skids transverse transfer between different longitudinal or transverse lines, CIEMMADA offers shuttle with on-board rollers.
It’s made up of a motorized trolley running on rails with a roller table mounted on it.
Scissors table with on-board rollers
This device is formed of a lifting device generally driven by belts, a scissors system for stabilization and guiding, and a roller table mounted on it.
It is usefull when it is necessary to overcome medium strokes (up to 2000 mm), height changes between lines, skid unlinking for welding stations or transfers, etc.
The transfer conveyor consists of two beams. On each beam runs a strand of metal or plastic chain, or rubber belt. The same engine drives both strands.
This type of transport performs skids movement in transverse direction.
Several transfers can be arranged on the same line mounted in order to serve both as a transverse transfer conveyor between lines and as a storage conveyor. For this purpouse, it must be assembled intertwined

It is a lifting device made up of a moving frame (which runs vertically guided by columns), a driving head in charge of power up the moving frame, a counterweight and a transmission system to activate the vertical movement (usually by means of belts).
It can be adapted to any weight or type of load, speed and lifting distance required.
If the conveyor line where the column lift is planned needs it, any other element such as a roller table, a transfer, an EMS rail section, etc, can be mounted over the mobile frame.
Its main function is to make height changes between lines.
The stacker crane is a lifting device made up of a column mounted on a mobile trolley (shuttle type).
It can be adapted to any weight or type of load, speed and lifting and translation distance required.
It is installed when height changes between lines combined with translation movement are required.
Stacker / Destacker skids
This device has skid-holding arms (usually articulated) to pick up, lift and release skids. The skids stocking and unstocking function is achieved by combining this system with the longitudinal movement of the roller table mounted on the same station.
There is another configuration of this floor conveyor where the skid arms are fixed in height and the lifting system is integrated in the roller tabe.
In both systems it is possible to make some adjustments in order to fulfill with the products you work with.
Skid transfer and exchange station
This machine is formed of a series of roller tables, positioners, lifting systems and a transversal translation system (usually telescopic forks or pickup truck) that permits bodies transference between different skid types.
Our developments allow us to adjust to any type of body and skid.
The Skillet consists of a push platform with an integrated lifting system. It permits the operator to continue working around the product while they both stand over the platform.
In CIEMMADA, we offer customized solutions, taking this configuration as basis, in order to adjust our device to the client’s products or installations.
Slat conveyor /
It is a conveyor system for loads directly-supported on the conveyor element. The transport surface can be made up of metal slats, modular plastic chain mat or any other type required by the industry in particular.
Like the skillet, it allows the operator to move forward with the load during the assembly processes carried out on the line.
There are multiple options available to suit any type of need.
Autonomous Guided Vehicles (AGV)
AGVs are a load transport system by means of motorized tractor-trailers. As its name implies, they travel autonomously over the ground along a previously configured circuit.
The load can be transported either directly on the tractor truck or on racks pulled by the tractor truck. The racks can be equipped with a locking system so that they can be hooked and unhooked from the tractor trolley as required.
It is a transport system highly adaptable to the other lines in plant whom it has to be linked. It’s also easily reconfigurable and in comparison with traditional fixed systems it has great advantages: it improves design flexibility, scalability, ease of integration with the logistic flow and more safety.
This transport system offers multiple configuration options of the racks, for example, by mounting on them lifting, turning, locking or any other required device.
